Do-It-Yourself Hunting

Rocky Ridge Lodge offers a place to stay and hunt.  Our cabin is located in Southern Illinois joining the Shawnee National Forest.  The cabin is located on 40 private acres in Johnson County, Illinois and joins approximately 800 acres of the Shawnee National Forest.  This portion of the Shawnee National Forest can only be reached by private land.  Both areas are available for hunting. We only provide DIY hunts, so please bring everything needed for a successful hunt. If you wish to stay and hunt on the property, please contact us for more information before booking, as the prices posted might not be for hunting access. Pricing for October is $150/night, November 1st-November 19th is $235/night, and Dec and January $100/night. This price is per night for up to four people (This is NOT per person). Additional fees for groups larger than 4 people. We are not an outfitter, nor do we provide guiding services, tree stands, or outfitting. ***We also have a larger house that was recently remodeled that may also be available upon request.***
